What is the School Store?

The LCES PTA hosts the school school store where volunteers choose a variety of school supplies, fidgets, and whatnots available for students to purchase using a punch card or cash. Sometimes there are snacks that are specially approved. The school store is set up in the front lobby and is open one day a month during encore for students to shop.

When is the School Store?

This year the school store has dates: August 28; September 25; October 30; November 20; January 29; February 26; March 26; April 30. Students shop during their encore period. Volunteers pick up students at their encore classroom and bring anyone cash or on our punch card list to shop.

What is sold at the School Store?

PTA Volunteers choose a variety of fidgets and school style supplies to sell at the school store. The items are either $1, $2, or $3. We are always asking students for opinions and input, and parents are welcome to send messages with ideas as well!

How do students purchase things from the School Store?

Students can bring cash to purchase items or adults can purchase punch cards from our square site.

Where is my child's punch card?

PTA Volunteers write out punch cards as they are purchased and keep them in a locked box until it is time to pick up students from their encore class to shop. Any unused punches can be saved and the punch cards will be stored until the next store.

How much money can my child bring?

We suggest a $10 limit per store. As long as you won't be upset at your child's spending, they can do so at your discretion.

Will my child receive change or do I need to send exact change?

Yes, we do give change

What if there are leftover punches on my child's card?

Punch cards with leftover punches carry over and will be stored safely until the next school store date

What if you run out of the item my child wanted to purchase?

We're sorry! Sometimes we cannot predict which items will be popular at the store (or HOW popular some items will be. Please let us know and we will be sure to restock for next time.
